Notes on "Readings in Praise of Winter"
Another piece that evolved over time.
It began as a guitar piece, simply called Readings. Different music based on the same motif.
It took this form soon after I entered UBC and made the basic idea into a new piano piece, a kind of "Homage a Satie", then added two movements to make a Christmas present for my friend Sue Evans in 1974.
Later on it turned up in yet another version for synthesizer as a part of Windborne. I may not be done with it yet.
